Une nuit, horaire française, les fans de la saga Final Fantasy avaient rendez-vous pour découvrir en direct via une conférence spéciale de Square Enix. Dans la nuit du 30 au 31 mars 2016 a eu lieu ‘Uncovered Final Fantasy XV’, évènement dévoilant de nombreuses informations concernant le jeu. Le team a notamment annoncé la date de sortie du tant attendu Final Fantasy XV. Ce nouvel opus très attendu sera donc disponible dès le 30 septembre 2016. Mais aussi, Square Enix a présenté un trailer d’un film intitulé Kingsglaive avec la présence de la R8 V10 Audi dans une belle livrée royale.
KingsGlaive Final Fantasy
Parallèlement à la sortie de ce quinzième opus, Square Enix a également officialisé la sortie prochaine de KingsGlaive Final Fantasy, un nouveau film d’animation en images de synthèse dont la qualité semble absolument phénoménale. Pour l’occasion, Square Enix s’est entouré de quelques géants de l’industrie filmographique, à commencer par Sean Bean et Lena Headey (tous deux acteurs dans Game of Thrones), mais aussi de Aaron Paul (acteur dans la série Breaking Bad et du film Need for Speed).
Un film dont la première bande-annonce permet non seulement d’apprécier l’esthétique toujours aussi léchée de la part de Square Enix, mais aussi la présence d’une certaine Audi R8 V10, qui servira ici de voiture royale. Le film KingsGlaive Final Fantasy sera disponible un peu avant la sortie du jeu, et édité en directement en Blu-Ray et VOD.

Another surprise coming straight from the Uncovered Final Fantasy XV event, Square Enix announced they’re collaborating with car company Audi to produce a one-of-a-kind themed Audi R8 car model based on the game’s iconic vehicle, the Regalia.

Ogle the Beautiful Final Fantasy XV Audi R8: a Peculiar Product Placement
Among the gazillion of announcements and trailers in yesterday’s Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV show, you may have missed the presentation of the stunning Audi R8 that will appear in Final Fantasy XV: Kingsglaive.
You can ogle it all you want in the video at the bottom of the post. While the film will be produced in CGI, Square Enix and Audi are actually partnering to create one in real life, even if we don’t precisely know yet what it will be used for.
This is certainly a prettu peculiar product placement, especially considering that the team at Square Enix created a plethora of fictional car brands for the game.
That said, this isn’t even the only advertisement that appears in the trailer, as you can see below. Not only there are multiple Audi billboards in sight, but there’s also the peculiar crane of Japan Air Lines at the top of one of the buildings.
Considering that the film will be distributed for free, it’s not surprising that Square Enix sought partners to help funding its production.
This isn’t even the first time that we see product placement associated with Final Fantasy XV. Camping gear by Coleman appeared in Episode Duscae, and will probably appear in the final game as well.
It’ll be interesting to see how many of these partnerships Square Enix has in store. We might be in for a pretty peculiar mix of real world and fictional branding.

En voilà une supercar qui s’est fait attendre et désirée, tant il y a eu la quantité de leak de photos sur circuit, de véhicules camouflés ou encore de photos montage… ces dernières semaines ! A quelques jours de la présentation officielle, le 2 mars 2015, lors de sa conférence de Presse de Geneva, la firme d’Ingolstadt présente aujourd’hui les photos officielles de la nouvelle supercar Audi : l’Audi R8 V10 Plus !
