WRC5 ready pour la saison 2016 WRC : calendrier et programme eSport WRC 2016

Les teams Kylotonn Games, Bigben Interactive et l’Electronic Sports League (ESL), acteur majeur de l’eSport international, annonce et présente le programme eSports WRC Championship 2016, le tournoi international de WRC 5, jeu vidéo officiel du Championnat du Monde FIA des Rallyes WRC. En parallèle de la saison WRC 2016 … In Real Life et in Game pour la toute première fois, un championnat Motorsport/eSports se déroulera en même temps ! C’est inédit ! Et c’est d’ailleurs lors d’une soirée le 16 décembre 2015, au Meltdown Paris que la présentation WRC5 eSport a eu lieu !

Programme et Calendrier eSport WRC 2016

Après 5 tours de qualification (du Rallye Monte-Carlo au Rallye du Portugal), les 15 meilleurs joueurs de chaque plateforme (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, et PC) s’affronteront en première demi-finale, durant le Rallye de Sardaigne.

Présentation du tournoi eSport WRC 2016

Trois pilotes pourront ainsi gagner leur place pour la grande finale qui se tiendra lors du Wales Rally GB, en octobre 2016. En deuxième partie de saison, 5 nouveaux tours permettront de sélectionner les participants à la seconde demi-finale. En fin de saison, 18 pilotes seront conviés à la grande finale eSports au Wales Rally GB pour désigner le tout premier champion eSports WRC !

Les qualifications et demies finales se joueront sur des spéciales exclusivement accessibles via les DLC / Season Pass. Une fois téléchargés, ils permettent au joueur de s’entraîner autant qu’il le souhaite afin de se préparer aux week-ends de rallye. Les week-ends eSports se composeront de 4 jours de compétition, du jeudi au dimanche. Chaque jour, les joueurs auront une chance d’enregistrer leur meilleur temps et ainsi se qualifier pour la finale du week-end : les 3 meilleurs pilotes (de chaque plateforme) seront alors sélectionnés pour la demi-finale puis la finale.

Ces DLC / Season Pass comportent au total 13 nouvelles spéciales, venant compléter chacun des 13 rallyes, ainsi que 3 livrées exclusives pour la WRC Concept Car S (une pour chaque DLC et une pour le Season Pass). Bien qu’elles aient été spécialement conçues pour l’eSports WRC, ces nouvelles spéciales et livrées seront également disponibles dans les modes Spéciale Rapide, Rally Rapide, Championnat et Multi-joueurs.

Video game publisher and distributor Bigben Interactive, WRC Promoter, Kylotonn Games and the world’s largest eSports company, ESL, are proud to introduce all the details of the 2016 eSports WRC Championship, a global tournament using WRC 5, the official 2015 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) game.

For the first time, an official eSports championship will run online in parallel with each WRC round throughout the 2016 season.

eSports WRC will bring the best WRC 5 drivers together for a tournament that will last from January and the Rallye Monte-Carlo to October and the grand finale in Wales Rally GB. On one side, the eSports community is waiting for more rallying challenges and on the other side, WRC and rally fans are always excited by competitive challenges. eSports WRC is the virtual adventure which will put them in the boots of real drivers by feeling the excitement and the pressure of rallying / competing in the most difficult and challenging conditions as the real stars of the WRC do!

After 5 qualifying rounds (from Rallye Monte-Carlo to Vodafone Rally de Portugal), the 15 best players on each platform will compete in the first semi-final (Rally Italia Sardegna). Among them, 3 drivers will earn their seat for the grand finale to be held at Wales Rally GB in October 2016. The second part of the season will follow the same scheme: 5 qualifying rounds, and the second semi-final. At the end, the top 18 drivers will be invited to the eSports final in Wales Rally GB, during the penultimate round of the WRC season, to determine the first eSports WRC Champion!

Qualifying steps and semi-finals will take place on exclusive Special Stages only accessible via downloadable contents (DLC). As soon as the player downloads it, he will be able to train as much as he wants to be ready for the rally weekend. eSports weekends will comprise four days of competition, from Thursday to Sunday. On each day, players will have only one chance to record their best time and qualify for the weekend final where the best 3 drivers (for each platform) will be selected for the semi-final.

These DLCs will bring a total of 13 brand new stages, one for each rally, as well as 3 exclusive liveries for the WRC Concept Car S (one for each DLC and one for the Season Pass). Even though they have been designed specially for eSports WRC, the new stages and cars will also be available in Quick Stage, Quick Rally, Championship and Multiplayer game modes.

eSports WRC will be available on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The DLC #1 (7.99€) and the Season Pass (14.99€) are available from December 15th (2015).
DLC #2 (7.99€) will be available from April 2016.
