Nissan expose la GT-R NISMO pour le SEMA Show 2015, à Las Vegas avec son pack N-Attack. Et c’est le préparateur STILLEN qui a réalisé les modifications. Cet article fait suite à l’article dédié à la Nissan GT-R NISMO publié sur DESIGNMOTEUR orienté constructeur. Ici, sur DESIGNMOTEUR UNDERGROUND, on va présenter en détail de la préparation effectué par le préparateur STILLEN situé en Californie, pour le SEMA Show 2015. Ce pack dénommé N-Attack fait référence au record établi par la Nissan GT-R NISMO.
Nismo GT-R N-Attack Package
In Japan, the N-Attack Package is installed at NISMO’s Omori factory, but Nissan is contracting that work out for U.S. cars. It will rely on tuner Steve Millen Sportsparts (a.k.a. Stillen) as the “official installer and certified sales agent” for the N-Attack Package. Stillen has a long history of Nissan tuning, and its engineers were sent to the Omori factory for training to install the package and to service cars equipped with it.

“The N-Attack GTR is kind of indescribable. As soon as we started to receive and inspect the parts, we were blown away by everything. The carbon fiber fenders are incredible. They truly are race car quality. They are CNC machined along all the flanges and mounting surfaces to ensure a perfect fit and finish. The Ohlins coil overs are far from your off-the-shelf coil overs. During the build, we learned that they are actually the same series coil over that they use on the FIA GT3 cars. It was almost a shame to install the rear wing covers as we have to cover up the beautiful billet aluminum mounting brackets. Cet été, durant quelques semaines, les techniciens du team STILLEN spécialement formés ont modifié le système motopropulseur de moteur, de suspension et de freinage du véhicule, l’extérieur et l’intérieur afin qu’il utilise la même technologie que sur la Nissan GT-R qui a enregistré un temps incroyable de 7 minutes 8 secondes sur la piste du Nürburgring.

Les experts de la performance STILLEN ont enlevés le moteur et les différentiels de la GT-R, qui sont en cours d’upgrade dans le cadre du pack N Attack. Les différentiels existants sont remplacés par encore des différentiels à glissement limité de meilleur qualité pour un meilleur contrôle et une gestion amélioré.

Lors de l’installation des suspension notre technicien Omori formés en usine établit chaque composant à la spécification exacte de la N Attack GTR qui a établi le record du tour au Nürburgring.

Pour préparer cette Nissan GT-R Nismo pour le pack N-Attack et pour aider à rendre le véhicule plus efficace en réduisant le poids, les techniciens NISMO ont enlevé l’échappement d’origine et l’a remplacé avec un échappement en titane.

Over the next several weeks, specially trained STILLEN technicians will modify the vehicle’s engine power train, suspension and braking system, exterior and interior so that it utilizes the same technology found on the Nissan GT-R that recorded an incredible time of 7 minutes 8.679 seconds on the infamous Nurburgring track.
The Nissan GT-R Nismo by STILLEN N-Attack Package is a special edition package that includes specially designed engine control and drive system parts, suspension parts, aerodynamic parts.
Now, the specially trained STILLEN technicians, who are working on the first Nissan GT-R Nismo by STILLEN N-Attack vehicle in North America, received a special delivery – the carbon fiber N-Attack wing! Just looking at the quality and craftsmanship of this piece alone makes you appreciate the attention to detail Nissan and Nismo put into developing their vehicles.
Additionally, the STILLEN technicians also began removing exterior body components. Nissan, Nismo and STILLEN all want to ensure that this vehicle looks as good as it performs, so the vehicle’s current fenders were removed and are being sent back to Japan to color match the new fenders. Again, this is just another example the level of care this vehicle is receiving from Nissan, Nismo and STILLEN as the package is installed.
The experts from the STILLEN performance shop removed the GT-R’s motor and differentials, which are being upgraded as a part of the N-Attack package. The existing differentials are being replaced with even higher quality limited slip differentials for better control and more aggressive handling.
Because the installation of the differentials is such a vital part of the N Attacks performance NISMO sent Mr. Ogasawara-san to inspect the installation being done at STILLEN. Ogasawara-san was the lead technician who performed the work to the NISMO GTR during the N Attack development.
Now that we have reached the half way point on the installation of North America’s first Nissan GT-R Nismo with N-Attack by STILLEN, many of the project milestones have either been completed or are nearing completion and the project is really starting to take shape. Developed to achieve the fastest times and withstand the extreme demands of the Nürburgring track, this dedicated suspension system is more compliant than the standard NISMO GTR due to the rough conditions found at Nurburgring. The Öhlins coil overs provided in the NISMO N-Attack kit are truly race pieces. They are fully compression and rebound adjustable and offer height adjustment without affecting spring pre-load. During the installation of the coil overs our Omori factory trained technician sets each component to the exact specification of the N-Attack GTR that set the lap record at Nurburgring.
To prepare this Nissan GT-R Nismo for the N-Attack package and to help make the vehicle more efficient by reducing weight, NISMO Authorized technicians removed the stock exhaust and replaced it with a titanium exhaust.
