Opel présente Crossland X aujourd’hui à Berlin. C’est un tout nouveau véhicule dans la gamme du constructeur automobile allemand, filiale du groupe américain General Motors. Et c’est un crossover qui sera produit par Opel en 2017 pour remplacer l’Opel Meriva, monospace de 2003 puis renouvelé en 2010.

Crossover Utility Vehicle
Opel a choisi l’originalité pour fêter l’arrivée du premier crossover du constructeur. Karl-Thomas Neumann, CEO d’Opel et Tina Müller, Chief Marketing Officer, vont dévoiler ce véhicule d’un genre différent puisqu’il s’agit d’un CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle) dans un lieu inhabituel – le ‘Kraftwerk’, en plein cœur de Berlin.
La révélation le 1er février du Crossland X sera le temps fort du vernissage organisé par Opel à l’occasion de la publication du calendrier Opel 2017. Quelque 1.000 invités, Acteurs de renom, Ambassadeurs de la marque Opel ou Blogueurs en vogue participe à l’événement.

Crisp and compact on the outside, very spacious and versatile on the inside with trendy two-tone paintwork and a cool SUV look – that is the all-new Opel Crossland X. This versatile urban crossover model (Crossover Utility Vehicle) is the second member of the Opel X family in the B-segment where it joins the sporty bestseller, the Mokka X. The larger Grandland X will be launched in the compact class (C-segment) later this year. Opel thus kicks off the product offensive “7 in 17”, which will see seven new models launched in 2017, with two X-newcomers that bring together the best of different worlds: Cars with the bold design, the virtues of a SUV and the attributes facilitating an urban lifestyle. They are the Opel models with the certain X-tra. The Opel Crossland X will celebrate its debut in Berlin on February 1.

Ce crossover urbain polyvalent (CUV, Crossover Utility Vehicle) est le second membre de la famille Opel X. Il se place sur le segment B, où il vient épauler le best-seller Mokka X, qui joue plutôt sur le côté sport.
Plus grand, le Grandland X viendra le rejoindre cette année en se positionnant en catégorie compacte (segment C). Opel entame ainsi l’offensive produit « 7 en 17 », qui verra le lancement de sept nouveaux modèles en 2017.
Le nouvel Opel Crossland X est plutôt destiné aux environnements urbains grâce à des dimensions extérieures mesurées, mais reste polyvalent. Avec une longueur de 4,21 mètres, le nouveau Crossland X est plus court de 16 centimètres qu’une Astra mais il est 10 centimètres plus haut.

Bold, crisp and cool are the three attributes that every “urban crossover” needs. The new Crossland X has them all while remaining a typical Opel with best possible packaging and a huge personality. With its length of 4,212 millimeters, width of 1,765 millimeters and height of 1,590 millimeters it is very compact. The Crossland X brings its very own interpretation of Opel’s design philosophy ‘Sculptural Artistry meets German Precision’ to the table and makes it both sophisticated and rugged. From the front, it confidently displays a prominent grille with shining Opel Blitz.
Two chrome winglets embrace the Blitz and flow outwards to the characteristic ‘double-wing’ Opel signature LED daytime running lights. The horizontal lines from the Opel logo in the middle to the chrome winglets and the chrome bars following through to AFL LED headlights give the perception of extra width. SUV-typical claddings and silver inserts in the front and throughout the entire lower section of the vehicle support the confident appearance and display functional and sporty elegance.

Le volume de coffre de 410 litres, sans rabattre les sièges arrière, est selon Opel, le meilleur de la catégorie. En outre, les passagers arrière ont la possibilité d’ajuster leur position d’assise sur une course de 150 millimètres, donnant le choix de privilégier la place pour les jambes ou la capacité du coffre à bagages.

Le Crossland X est assemblé dans l’usine General Motors de Saragosse, où sera aussi construit le futur Citroën C3 Aircross (remplaçant de l’actuel C3 Picasso) avec lequel il partage sa plateforme comme le Peugeot 2008. Deux 4 cylindres 1.6 turbo diesel de 100 et 120 ch. entraînant les seules roues avant, par l’intermédiaire de boîte manuelle.
Le bloc 1.2 turbo essence de 110 ch sera proposé avec une boîte automatique 6 rapports.
